The Hanbury Botanical Gardens will close to the public starting November 5, 2020

Following the recent DPCM and in order to contribute to the reduction of the spread of SARS-COV-2, agent of COVID-19, from Thursday 5 November 2020 the Hanbury Botanical Gardens will remain temporarily closed to the public until a date to be defined, which will be suitably communicated.

The University and auxiliary staff will remain at work for the maintenance of the precious scientific and cultural heritage, in the hope of reopening as soon as possible in full safety, as already happened throughout the summer and the first part of autumn.

We take this opportunity to invite lovers of gardens, flora, nature and culture to follow us on social media (Facebook, Youtube, Instagram) and to visit the site with particular regard to the pages of the photo galleries, of the projects and events. The most recent innovations include the videotutorial with the lessons of the botanical painter Chiara Trinchieri and the launch of the international online professional training project ALCOTRA MONVER.
